Argentina Wines Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions set out below ("Terms and Conditions") are important as they govern the terms upon which you will be a customer ("Customer" and "you") of Argentina Wines ("AW" and "we") and upon which AW will supply any wine ordered and/or purchased by you or on your behalf ("Wine"). No other terms and conditions shall apply in respect of the purchase of such Wine unless expressly accepted in writing by AW.
Please ensure you have read and understand our terms and conditions. There is an agreement "check box" on the final check out page which is a requirement for a customer to place an order request. If there are any terms that you do not understand or do not wish to agree with please discuss it with us before placing your order request. Please only agree to our terms and conditions if you wish to be bound by them.
AW is UK based and any subsequent disputes or claims arising from the use of this site must be made and settled under UK law
Order Process
You place an order request. AW check the details of the wine and stock availability.
At the point of despatch AW charges your credit / debit card.
The wine is delivered. A legally binding contract only exists between you the purchaser and AW when the wine has been despatched and the funds charged to your card. AW makes every effort to ensure the information listed on the website is accurate and up-to-date but there are times due to circumstances beyond our control when the vintage, description or price may change. We will always keep you informed of any changes made to your order request and customers can confirm the changes or simply cancel the order request.
United Kingdom Age Restriction
You must be aged 18 years old to purchase alcohol. By placing an order request you confirm you are at least 18 years old. If you are buying the wine as a gift then the recipient must be 18 years old. All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods will be retained by the driver, in which case the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery.
Cancelation Policy
You may if you wish for whatever reason cancel your order. The cancellation period is up to 7 working days from the day after you have received your delivery. The bottles should remain unopened and intact. AW will reimburse all monies for the wine within 30 days from the date you notify us of the cancellation. The wines will be returned to AW at the customers cost. The customer can make their own arrangements to return the wine or the customer can ask for AW to arrange the collection and the collection cost will be deducted from the refund. Failure to return the wines, or make available for collection the customer is in breach of a statutory duty. If you fail to return or make the goods available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point a new purchase contract will be made and you will be charged for your order at the price set out on the web site. Quality and Condition. AW is committed to providing wines that are stored correctly and from reputable sources. However there is always an element of risk in the purchase of the older fine wines as their condition is inevitably variable. Once the wine has been delivered and the statutory 7 days "cooling down" period has passed. It is then deemed to be the customers responsibility for the continued safe storage of the wines purchased. As a retailer AW responsibility for the condition of a wine ends after 6 months from the day you have received your wine. Wines that have been simply kept too long, mistreated or stored incorrectly will not be refunded. Incidents of "corked" wine will be resolved on an individual basis and at the discretion of AW. Our customer service is very important to us and we will resolve each incident on an individual basis.
Prices
All prices are per standard case (12 bottles) or unless otherwise stated. Prices are in £ sterling, and are subject to alteration.
Minimum Order
The minimum order is one standard case (12 bottles).
Delivery
All wine shall be at your risk from the point of delivery to you. Upon receipt of wine you must examine the wine delivered and sign to confirm receipt on any delivery note provided by AW. If any wine as delivered to you is subject to shortages, damage or errors you must note this on the delivery note or otherwise inform AW within 48 hours of the time of delivery (or the next working day if delivery takes place on a Friday or preceding a Bank Holiday) and give details of such shortages, errors or damage. You must also retain such wine and packaging and make it available for inspection and collection by AW. AW will not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature directly or indirectly incurred by you or any third party arising out of or in connection with any late delivery, shortage of delivery or non-delivery of Wine to you.
